It’s the day after Thanksgiving as I write this.  For the first time EVER, as a mom, I feel content with the way the big day went. Yay me!

I‘m feeling so full just thinking about all the blessings I have in my life. I want to give you something meaningful that has made all the difference in my life as a mom who has experienced childhood trauma and depression.

It’s my practice of learning to love and accept myself more each day. If you’re in a rush, and can’t read the rest of my blog, take a listen here.

Our Thoughts Can Be Harsh

Do you ever have those thoughts that come out of nowhere that suck the courage right out of you? Gosh, I know them all too well and I had to come up with a ton of tools to be able to hear the harsh words and ground to my highest self of wisdom and self-compassion.

My mentor, Patricia Moreno, said: “The words you say to yourself are the most important words you’ll ever hear.”

Create a Daily Practice of Positivity

This is what prompted me to create a daily practice of flooding myself with empowering thoughts daily. In the morning, throughout the day and even at bedtime because what you focus on expands, dear friend.

What would you like to see expand in your life? Speak it and visualize it often.

I’m truly proud of myself for sticking with this practice and how it’s helped me be more happy and courageous. Some days, I get a glimpse of myself in the mirror and just start chuckling with a feeling of accomplishment and adoration for all my efforts that day! Yes, it’s real!

Sure, I have bumps in my days but they don’t last as long as they used to and they don’t stop me from showing up as a great coach! Yeah I said it “I am a great coach.” You see what these self-love mantras can do?

Acknowledge Yourself for Daily Wins

Lately, I’ve been making it a point to acknowledge myself for my commitments to wellness with going to bed earlier and abstaining from high carbs and sugar. How often do you acknowledge yourself?

This stuff works so I invite you to commit to making it a practice or up-level your current practice to grow your courage and self-love even more! You will see and feel the difference – I promise! Listen to the mantras here!

If there’s anything I can do to support you on your journey of loving yourself more, improving your health with better sleep, nutrition, movement or life coaching, call or email me!

Ask for what you need dear friend and you shall receive.
